Some people know that there are two types of container  houses, one is Fast assemble house also called(Bulk packed), and the other is Flat- packed container house.  Here are some of the differences:

1.Structural characteristics:

The container house uses an integrated steel frame structure similar to a sea container, and its six sides are tightly welded or riveted from complete sheets to form a strong sealed box. This structure enables the container house to withstand greater external impact, wind resistance, seismic performance is superior. For example, in some coastal typhoon-prone areas, the flat packed container house building can remain stable and rarely damaged. Its wall, roof and bottom plate are usually use sandwich board, sandwich materials are common polystyrene, rock wool, etc., not only heat insulation, but also effective sound insulation, to create a comfortable environment for the interior.

Fast assembled is a modular design, consisting of multiple independent standard modules quickly assembled by high-strength bolts and connectors. The flexibility of this structure is its biggest highlight, which can be freely combined into various shapes and layouts according to different space needs, like building blocks. For example, in some large event venues, fast assembled can quickly finished buildings with different functional zones. Its wall and roof materials are diverse, including colored steel, aluminum-plastic panels, fiber cement panels, etc. Each material has different characteristics, and can be selected according to the project budget and functional needs.

2. Transportation and installation cost

 1.Transportation

The size of theFlat packed container house is standardized, consistent with international standard sea containers, and can be directly transported by40’HQ and flat trailers without disassembly, which is convenient for long-distance transportation. During transportation, its overall structure can effectively protect internal facilities and reduce losses. From the factory to the remote construction site, the flat packed arrive safely, with the interiors and equipment intact.

Fast assemble shipping can be disassembled into module components, greatly reducing space, suitable for long-distance shipping or limited transportation space, can reduce shipping costs. However, care should be taken to protect the components during transportation to avoid loss or damage, which will affect the installation schedule and quality.

2. Installation process

Flat packed container house installation speed is extremely fast, usually a set of installation can be completed in a few hours, which greatly shortens the project construction cycle.

Fast assemble installation needs to splicing and fixing module components in turn according to the design scheme, although it is also a quick installation type, but compared with the packaging box, the steps are slightly cumbersome, and certain technology and experience are required to ensure the splicing quality. Generally, a medium-sized project to build,  needs 1-2 days.
